Anything between 8 and 12 weeks before your wedding day is what most brides try to aim for. Majority of alterations are completed within 2-3 weeks but the more time you allow before your wedding the more peace of mind you'll have knowing your dress is perfectly fitted. Emergencies can be done sooner with a 20% express charge made within a week. The average cost for wedding dress alterations is approximately between £150-£200 but anything up to £300 is to be expected if a complete restyle is required. Bridesmaids should expect to pay anything between £20-£60 for alterations.
In most cases 2-3 fittings are required but please be aware that additional fittings maybe needed depending on your level of alterations.
